Part of a large upgrade programme the new operations centre at Hanningfield Treatment Centre, replaces existing buildings to bring together different departments within a single purpose built high specification facility. Taking approximately 9 months to complete, the new building incorporates a number of sustainable features allowing it to achieve a high BREEAM rating.
The two main features of the building are the full height glazed atrium at one end of the building proving panoramic views from reception and canteen and the other being the use of a wide range of materials and finishes including curtain walling, cedar panels and acrylic render panels to create a self sufficient and attractive centre.
Systems used include Schuco FW50 Curtain Walling, AOS/AOT Schuco Curtain Walling and Schuco R565 Doors.
