Investors in People - 07/05/2008

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have achieved Investors in People accreditation.

This was confirmed by the East Midlands recognition Panel of EMQC at their May 1st board meeting, and subsequently posted on their website.

Accreditations have been awarded separately for each company in our Group, and are effective from 1st May 2008.

We will proudly be displaying the Investors in People logo on all literature going forward.

Group Chairman, Mark Deane commented on the news:

"I am personally delighted with this massive achievement. We have been on a mission to gain recognition for a long time. Thanks to a concerted effort this year led by our HR Manager, Denise Peat, we have been rewarded for our efforts.

I have stated all the way through the process, that we do not want IIP just for the plaque on the wall.

We passionately believe in the principles of the standard and we have a culture here where we genuinely care for our employees, we appreciate they are the most important part of the business and we wish them to develop their careers with us.

Having now achieved accreditation, I see this as only the beginning, and at the next round of management meetings we will be pushing on with initiatives to involve our people even further"

Framework with Costain - 06/05/2008

Deane & Amos Aluminium Systems have also been awarded a framework partnership with Costain, an international and UK leading construction group.

There will be approximately six curtain wall companies providing services for Costain going forward on a variety of projects across the UK.

We were selected after a rigorous selection process took place and we are now looking forward to forming close links with Costain.

Sainsbury’s Roll-out Programme - 02/05/2008

Deane & Amos Aluminium Systems have recently secured partnership status with Sainsbury’s for the provision of ground floor window and door treatments on their stores.

We will be working on projects throughout the UK designing, manufacturing and installing shopfronts and entrances on both new and refurbishment projects.

It is anticipated that the value of the works will be in the region of £1 million per year and are very excited about this new venture.

Pier 7 Segregation Screen Awarded to Deane & Amos Group - 02/05/2008

We have been successful with our bid for this important project at Heathrow Terminal 3. We will be working with Morgan Ashurst on the project valued at over £500,000.

The project involves manufacturing and installing bespoke steel segregation screens all of which will be carried out by STREETS working alongside a nominated glass contractor who will be providing the glass inserts.

The works will be managed by Deane & Amos Shopfitting on behalf of Morgan Ashurst.

Investors in People - 02/05/2008

We have completed our external assessment for all three Group companies. The recommendation is for acceptance across the board, so we are just waiting for the final rubber-stamping.

This is just reward for the efforts that have been put in over the past year, and will benefit each and every employee going forward.

As soon as we hear the confirmation of our accreditation, we will post the news on this website.
